Serba Dinamik Group Berhad (SDGB) was founded by Dr. Ir. Mohd Abdul Karim Abdullah and began operations on 11 June 1993 as a private limited company. With a paid up capital of RM 62,090,458, it has two other shareholders, namely Hj. Awang Daud Pengiran Putera and Haji Abdul Kadier Sahib.

Its mission is to continue to be the most highly regarded value-added company in terms of safety, quality and effectiveness – to be the preferred one-stop engineering solution and a profitable contributor to its shareholders.

Serba prides itself on the quality of its work and the safety standards to which it adheres. It is amongst the early Malaysian companies in the rotating equipment services category to have been awarded OHSAS 18001: 2007 (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment System) certifications. It has also been awarded ISO 9001: 2008 in recognition of the quality and standard of its safety practices and Environmental Management System in Compliance to ISO 14001: 2004.

Today, Serba has set up excellent facilities either on its own or with its alliances including modern machine equipped with workshops and fabrication yards, administrative and marketing offices at various locations locally and overseas. Serba is supported by a highly-motivated management team of qualified professionals and a dedicated work force that is ready to be mobilised 24 hours a day, seven days a week. IT based e-commerce and e-enquiry has been set up to accommodate enquiries and handle them through a fast track approach – to meet the urgent needs of clients.

RECENT BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENTS
• Financial
In 2013, Serba managed to achieve revenue growth of 20 percent with Group revenue of RM535 million. Nett profit has improved to approximately RM53 as per the audited accounts for the year ending 31 December 2013.

• Technical
Serba has aggressively activated R&D initiatives internally, putting strong emphasis on Green Technology Development. It produced two prototype machines that use hydrogen as a source to produce electricity. This has been submitted to the Intellectual Property Organisation (IPO) for trademark registration. The IT Team have also managed to develop a tailor-made software that is combined with RFID technology to save critical database information to locate the position and availability of items (parts, equipment and so on), to analyse real stock status through a web-based approach. This was the first such system in Malaysia and was done for an international oil company. They are able to upgrade other engineering software, namely AlignSoft™ and myPlant™, to become web-based.
