Leadership and Vision

Ron Tan, Executive Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, was appointed to the Board as an Executive Director on November 9, 2015. Previously, he served as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee at EpiCentre Holdings, a Singapore-listed company, as well as an Independent Board Member at CCFH Limited (formerly Friven & Co.) and Mavshack AB, a Sweden-based company listed on NASDAQ OMX.

Tan has played an instrumental role in international entertainment and investment ventures, serving as an International Director at First Alverstone Partners and holding board positions at EMS Holdings, Hi-5 World, and BASE Entertainment Asia. As a producer, he was responsible for the Hi-5 TV series and the franchise’s first movie in 2012, which was broadcast in over 200 countries.

A recipient of the prestigious Singapore Government scholarship, Tan pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. An alumnus of Hwa Chong Junior College and The Chinese High School in Singapore, Tan is recognized for his strategic leadership and forward-thinking vision.
