More about

Pang

On 7 September 2016, Dell and EMC Corporation merged in the largest technology merger in history, forming Dell Technologies. This unification brought together leading technology brands to help organizations build their digital future, transform IT, and protect their critical information. Dell Technologies Malaysia, established in 1995, serves both local and global customers, reinforcing its commitment to technological innovation.

Commitment to Sustainability and Inclusion

Dell Technologies’ Progress Made Real initiative outlines its 2030 vision through four key focus areas. The first is advancing sustainability by promoting a circular economy, making products more recyclable, and helping businesses grow while reducing material consumption. The second is cultivating inclusion by closing the diversity gap to reflect its global customer base and attract future talent. The third is transforming lives with technology by enhancing healthcare, education, and economic opportunities for underrepresented communities. Lastly, Dell Technologies is committed to upholding strict ethical and privacy standards in all operations.

Leadership and Strategic Vision

Pang Yee Beng, Senior Vice President of Dell Technologies South Asia, oversees sales, strategy, business development, and government engagement across the region. Since May 2015, he has also served as Managing Director of Dell Technologies Malaysia, managing three facilities that support global operations. Pang believes that while leadership principles remain constant, technological advancements and data growth require adaptive leadership. He leads by example, valuing honesty and integrity as core pillars of organizational success.

Driving Diversity and Inclusion

As a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion, Pang leads Dell Technologies’ D&I strategy in Malaysia, ensuring all employees embrace inclusion initiatives. He also heads the Dell Malaysia Council, responsible for setting strategic priorities for workplace diversity.

One of the flagship programs under this strategy is Many Advocating Real Change (MARC), an initiative by Catalyst, a non-profit organization. MARC helps leaders recognize unconscious bias and develop more inclusive leadership styles. Dell Technologies was the first IT company to implement this program, with Pang serving as a certified trainer.

Recognitions and Achievements

Under Pang’s leadership, Dell Technologies Malaysia received the Workplace Gender Equality Recognition Award (2016) from the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development (KPWKM) and the National Council of Women’s Organizations (NCWO) Malaysia.

Pang is a leader who knows that his people form the backbone of organizational success. His on-boarding of Dell Technologies’ inclusive culture bodes well for Malaysia and its diversity - Shanggari Balakrishnan, Chief Executive Officer, MORS Group
