Leevutinun

“Twenty seven years and thriving.“

A 27-year veteran of Nu Skin, a leading integrated beauty and wellness company, powered by a dynamic affiliate opportunity platform, Dr Pakapun (Vicky) Leevutinun serves as President of Southeast Asia and Pacific, overseeing nine countries in the region.

Dr Leevutinun has played an integral role the geographical expansion and business growth of Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand. With an impressive track record in an executive position with 27 years of experience, she continues to deliver significant milestones in these markets, setting strategy and framework for future business growth in the market. She turned adversity into an opportunity by accelerating digital transformation and social commerce during the COVID-19 pandemic. She continues to lead the company by believing that we have what the world needs. No matter one’s upbringing, everyone wants to look, feel and live better. Nu Skin recently launched EMPOWERME, a new digital ecosystem and strategy that recommends personalized beauty and wellness products through interactive and engaging digital experiences, providing holistic solutions across the beauty and wellness spectrum, integrating its products into the customer experience.

Originally from Thailand, she relocated to Singapore to head the Nu Skin Southeast Asia and Pacific Regional Headquarter in 2015. She was previously the Market President managing Nu Skin Thailand and Nu Skin Vietnam. Dr Leevutinun has played an integral role in building the success of Nu Skin Thailand as well as positively influencing the direct selling industry there, making Nu Skin one of the top five direct selling companies in Thailand. Dr Leevutinun also served as Chairwoman of the Thailand Direct Selling Association (TDSA) from July 2014 to June 2016.  During this time with TDSA, she helped develop the Direct Selling Ethics, ensuring that members of TDSA uphold high standards to positively impact public perceptions.

Dr Leevutinun is an Asia Pacific Representative in the Association Advisory Council for the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), helping direct selling associations worldwide promote industry awareness.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand and subsequently completed her Master of Business Administration from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.  Several years later, she pursued her PhD in Technopreneurship and Innovation Management from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

Citing a combination of her learning from formal education and learning through experience as the biggest factors to her success, Dr Leevutinun possesses an innate curiosity, and passion to keep learning new things and acquiring wisdom from the people she interacts with.

Describing herself as a leader who is formed by her past experience and learnings, she believes that what she is today is a product of the knowledge received from her family, school education, work experience, people relationships and learnings from other successful leaders.

As a strong believer that leadership can be taught and that leaders are not born naturally, Dr Leevutinun emphasizes that to her, leadership is something that is worked on and developed over time.  She believes that it is through day-to-day experiences, constant communication with team members and interaction with other people, that one is able to sharpen their leadership skills.

Dr Leevutinun draws inspiration from Blake Roney, one of Nu Skin’s founders, who established Nu Skin’s mission, which is ‘to be a force for good throughout the world by empowering people to improve lives with rewarding business opportunities, innovative products and an enriching uplifting culture’.

Roney’s leadership has made her realize further that the most significant business accomplishment is to be able to give back to society, inspiring her to do better in her work by not only contributing to the success of the company, but more importantly, serving a higher purpose; which is to help others improve their lives.

Recognizing that employees are the most important assets of a company, Dr Leevutinun is a firm believer in empowering her team. She does this by recognizing their potential, giving them the tools to succeed and making them realize that their contribution plays a vital role in achieving the company’s goals.

Aside from sharp business acumen and strong leadership, Dr Leevutinun also possesses a heart of gold where she has been actively involved in various corporate social responsibility initiatives which exhibit her zealous devotion to improving the lives of the underprivileged. She is the Founding Chairwoman of the Nu Skin Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund, a foundation dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children with congenital heart disease in Southeast Asia. To date, the foundation has helped to save more than 14,000 children’s lives across Southeast Asia.

Indeed, Vicky’s contribution to the world is extraordinary. She truly embodies the Force For Good culture to improve and transform lives across the world.  Her superb leadership skills, brilliant mind, and genuine call to service makes her the epitome of a great leader.

For Dr Leevutinun, a win at ACES 2022 would be a recognition for Nu Skin, and a testament to the hard work and dedication manifested by their customers, distributors and employees who are living the mission of ‘being a force for good by improving people’s lives’.

“There is always a particular steel and grace to be found in female Thai top executives, and Dr Pakapun (Vicky) Leevutinun is the penultimate example of this. Shaped by formal learning, as well as the lessons gained from listening to the people she leads and works with, as well as the example of Nu Skin founder Blake Roney, Vicky has used her ability to shape thought leadership to further the good intentions of the direct-selling industry in both the Southeast Asia and Pacific region, and internationally.”
