Mewah safeguards Malaysia’s palm oil industry reputation by maintaining a robust system that ensures suppliers adhere to the latest sustainability requirements. This system, integrated across over 150 palm oil mills, demonstrates Mewah’s commitment to responsible sourcing.
As a result, Mewah became the first palm oil refinery in Malaysia to export Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certified palm oil. Additionally, it became the first company to publicize summary reports of individual suppliers’ mills, highlighting findings from its Traceability to Plantation (TTP) mill assessments. These efforts underscore its leadership in driving collective action for industry-wide transformation.
