Incorporated on 29 February 1992 in Malaysia, JJ-Lurgi Engineering Sdn Bhd (JJ-Lurgi) is a 50/50 joint-venture company between Jebsen & Jessen Pte Ltd, Singapore, and Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions Germany GmbH, Germany (formerly Lurgi GmbH, Germany).
JJ-Lurgi is a leading provider of highly customizable technology and solutions for the oil and fats industry, such as oilseeds extraction, edible oil refining, fats modification, oleochemicals and methyl ester (biodiesel). It also provides support for customers starting from the design, through to installation and maintenance of industrial plants and equipment, and after-sales services, which include troubleshooting, plant diagnosis and plant upgrading.

To date, JJ-Lurgi has engineered more than 340 process plants around the world, including the world’s largest biodiesel plant with cold filtration (1,500TPD), three of the world’s largest edible oil refineries (3,500 TPD) and three of the world’s second-largest edible oil refineries (3,000 TPD).
