In the field of medical innovation, IRPC collaborates with the Prostheses Foundation of HRH The Princess Mother to help disabled individuals regain mobility. By supplying 20-25 tons of plastic polymers annually, IRPC has contributed to the production of 13,374 prosthetic limbs for 11,487 patients since 2011. The company has also developed transparent prosthetic materials to help doctors monitor patient recovery more effectively and is working on UHMW-PE polymer for knee replacements and prosthetic components.
Addressing Water Scarcity with the Lam Sai Yong Model
IRPC’s Lam Sai Yong Model tackles water scarcity in drought-prone regions of Northeastern Thailand.
Phase I, launched in 2014 in collaboration with the Foundation for Education and Public Welfare, involved dredging five reservoirs, increasing water storage by 100,000 m³, boosting crop yields, and generating 30,000 baht (USD 910) in additional annual income per household.
Phase II, implemented between 2016 and 2017, saw IRPC engineers install plastic pipelines and a solar-powered water pump, expanding water access from three to ten communities.
Phase III, completed in 2018 in collaboration with the Governor of Sisaket Province, introduced advanced drought resilience measures. This project now serves as a national model for private sector involvement in water sustainability.
Pioneering Sustainability for the Future
IRPC’s dedication to sustainable solutions, from plastic polymer innovations to water conservation projects, demonstrates its role as a responsible corporate citizen. Through its commitment to innovation, community welfare, and environmental sustainability, IRPC continues to shape a better future for rural Thailand.
