In 2020, the company introduced six green products, including carbon black for low rolling resistance tyres that improve fuel efficiency and durability. CSRC is also pioneering non-toxic carbon black to reduce harmful polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), aligning with international safety standards.
Greener Production and Reduced Environmental Impact
CSRC sources 100% of its raw materials from local refineries and steel mills, recycling all feedstock oil. Steam byproducts are repurposed for power generation, with its Linyuan and Maanshan plants producing enough electricity to power 22,000 households annually. The company continues to improve efficiency, saving 525 tonnes of feedstock oil in 2020 and cutting carbon dioxide emissions by 1,417 tonnes.
