A Reliable Partner in Crisis
DKSH played a crucial role during the global Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of pharmaceutical products and daily essentials across the Asia Pacific region. The company successfully delivered over 80 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, reaching even the most remote areas in some of its markets.
Sustainability at the Core
Sustainability is embedded in DKSH’s operations through its Sustainability Framework, which is built around three key pillars – Our People, Our Partners, Our Planet. This framework guides the company’s initiatives in talent management, business ethics, and environmental responsibility.
Community Engagement and Empowerment
For over 13 years, DKSH has partnered with Right To Play to improve the life skills of children and youth in Thailand through sports and play. The initiative focuses on empowering at-risk youth to become active change agents in their communities. DKSH employees actively participate in trainings and large-scale play events as part of this program.
The Side by Side Partnership, a collaboration between DKSH, Right To Play, and Liverpool F.C. Foundation, aims to promote life skills, social cohesion, and safe learning environments for children and young people in Thailand. Launched in 2020, the program provides sports and play-based sessions while introducing skill-building initiatives for vulnerable children in urban Bangkok communities. Side by Side also extends support to families affected by the pandemic.
As part of the initiative, DKSH recently organized a football clinic for over 50 vulnerable children aged 10 to 17. Liverpool F.C. Foundation coaches traveled from Anfield to lead the clinic, working alongside DKSH employees who acted as translators to bridge communication gaps. Right To Play facilitators ensured a welcoming and engaging learning experience for the participants.
Supporting Healthcare Workers
Through the D-Give initiative, DKSH provided essential medical supplies to hospitals facing shortages during the Covid-19 crisis. Employees and the company collectively raised funds to donate critical supplies, including N-95 masks, PPE, face shields, hand sanitizers, and disinfectants. This initiative strengthened DKSH’s commitment to supporting Thai patients and healthcare professionals during unprecedented times.
DKSH Thailand delivered more than 80 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines, and reliably supplied pharmaceutical products and daily essentials across Asia Pacific, ensuring an uninterrupted supply chain, even to the remotest areas in some of their markets.
