Following its success in Malaysia, Berjayapak’s 2019 expansion into Vietnam marked a strategic move to explore diversification opportunities across all business units. With its factory located in Bau Bang Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh, the company aims to leverage its resources for further growth in the Indo-China region.
Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives
Berjayapak actively contributes to the community through various corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. The company implements a wooden pallet recycling system that has significantly reduced approximately 6,700 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions—equivalent to removing 23,000 cars from the road. Additionally, Berjayapak has provided wooden pallets for disaster relief, notably assisting victims of the Penang floods in 2017.
Furthering its commitment to social impact, the company supports two primary schools in Sungai Bakap, where many of its employees’ children study.
