A.T. Biopower Company Ltd. (“ATB”) was established on 23 March 1999, with the purpose of developing and operating a sustainable electricity-generating business. Located in Phichit province, Thailand, the company operates a 23 MW biomass power plant that generates electricity using rice husk, a byproduct from local farming and milling. This waste material is repurposed as fuel, helping to reduce harmful emissions and supporting Thailand’s transition to sustainable renewable energy. ATB exports 20 MW of electricity to the national grid under a long-term Power Purchase Agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
