Ramon Daniel S. Malls were reconfigured to include fulfilment centres, open-air spaces, delivery solutions, and life-style apps making them more aligned with post-pandemic demands.
The company’s adaptation of these strategies earned RLC numerous awards, including Employer of the Year titles from both the Philippine Inquirer and Statista for 3 straight years, as well as Developer of the Year from Property Guru for 3 straight years as well. Additionally, RLC has been recognised as an EDGE Champion for green-certified buildings, underscoring its commitment to sustainability. The company’s dedication to quality, sustainability, and good governance has resulted in repeated honours from both the Cambridge IFA and the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines.
Rivero has been key in laying down the foundation of the company’s Sustainability Principles. Through an extensive macro-economic scan across its value chain, and a thorough dialogue across all its stakeholders, RLC was able to identify which ESG areas it has most impact on. As a result of this exercise, 7 focus areas were identified which now serve as the company’s compass in prioritising initiatives, helping it decide which opportunities to focus on.
