LOCAL property technology developer Imperial Homes Corp. (IHC) has clinched the “Responsible SMEs in Asia Award” at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards 2020.
In a statement, the property firm said MORS Group Chief Executive Shanggari Balakrishnan announced the good news to the company through an official letter last June 17.
“We thank ACES Awards 2020 for recognizing our efforts towards the development of the community and preservation of the environment by integrating green solutions in our innovations. We share this award to all the employees of the IHC Group of Companies and to those who continue to champion sustainability,” IHC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Emma Imperial said.
The ACES Awards recognizes Asia’s responsible corporate leaders and sustainability advocates cross-industry. It honors projects, plans and policies of organizations dedicated to promoting sustainable growth.
Established in September 1983, IHC is in the business of developing modern leisure villages, middle income and low-cost housing projects.
The company takes pride in being the only developer in the country to integrate solar energy and Connovate ultra-high-performance concrete technology at the community level.
The solar technology reduces overall electricity cost, while the Connovate concrete features superior resistance to earthquake, typhoon, fire and molds.
Being in the industry for nearly four decades, IHC has already built more than 20,000 homes across the country. It currently has projects in Batangas, Bicol, Cabanatuan, Cavite and Las Piñas City.
Imperial Homes is a group of companies and has three subsidiaries.
These are Premiere Fiestaland, another real estate developer; Connovate Philippines Inc., a local manufacturer of Connovate ultra-high-performance concrete precast panels; and Enfinity Imperial Solar Solutions Inc., the solar solution arm of the group.
